For some time now, Asian shrimp farmers have been using Lubao Balls as a source of grazing for their shrimp. Initial curiosity quickly turned into enthusiasm for this form of feeding, which is why we started producing our own feed bags. The biological processes that take place with the ingredients create a biofilm on the outside of the bag, which is grazed by all shrimp of all sizes.

Over time, our recipe has been refined to ensure stable biofilm formation over 20 days. In initial tests in particular, and also with Lubao Balls from other suppliers, we found that the fermentation process was far too intense, which meant that the water pollution was extremely high. Accordingly, our main focus was on creating a pasture source that was well accepted by the shrimp, but without exposing the animals to too much risk. Our Lubao have now become an integral part of our shrimp facility and are very well received by both young and old.

IMPORTANT instructions for use:

• Lubao Balls should not remain in the pool for longer than 20 days
• Regular water changes are a basic requirement for using the Lubao Balls.
• The application is only recommended for tank volumes of 20 litres and over and a stock size of 20 shrimp
• The Lubao Balls should be used from day 1 but should be attached or clamped with a weight, otherwise they will float.
• Lubao Balls do not replace a balanced and varied diet, but the animals should still be fed supplementary feed.
