Shrimp Baby Food is a protein-rich breeding food for ornamental shrimp with zooplankton, natural vitamins, minerals and a high proportion of omega-3 fatty acids, so that young shrimp develop well and have enough strength and energy for the numerous molts in the first few weeks. The 100 ppm astaxanthin content ensures that the color pigment cells form well from the start, especially in red, yellow and orange shrimp, so that they can show off their full color splendor.

Newly hatched shrimp larvae require a comprehensive supply of nutrients from the time of their first molt (from hatching to the first molt, no food intake takes place; they are still supplied by the yolk sac).

Shrimp Baby Food contains all the necessary proteins and amino acids that are urgently needed for healthy growth. Highly digestible carbohydrates and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) provide the necessary "molting power". Selected algae, vegetables and herbs serve as suppliers of vital substances. Green-lipped mussels are known for their high content of glycosaminoglycans, a substance that is a very valuable building block for shrimp shell construction. The built-in multivitamin mix ensures a comprehensive supply of vitamins and prevents deficiency symptoms. A concentrate of calcareous algae, which contains over 50 minerals and trace elements, was used to provide vital minerals and trace elements.

Shrimp Baby Food is a fully extruded product, this process ensures that the food nutrients are very easily digestible and bioavailable. The powdery microgranulation means that a fine "grass" is deposited on the entire surface of the aquarium each time the food is fed. This is necessary because baby shrimp are mostly sessile at first, which means that they usually stay in one place and the food has to come to them, otherwise they could starve.
