Mironekuton – stones, (plastic bag) 300g

The original Japanese Mironekuton only occurs in a specific region in Japan and is exceptionally rich in natural minerals and trace elements.

It is very popular among Japanese shrimp breeders and plant aquarists due to its many positive properties, especially when using soil substrate, as it significantly improves the important microbiology (bacteria, accompanying fauna).

Millions of years ago, remains of fish, plankton, algae, seaweed and other living creatures were deposited on the seabed. Over time, the metabolism of microorganisms, the special conditions in this region and the high pressure of tectonic faults in the Pacific plate resulted in this unique material containing more than 66 different minerals.

Mironekuton is used as a mineral additive and water conditioner during the aquarium's running-in phase, thus promoting the development of important microorganisms in the filter and substrate right from the start. During further operation, Mironekuton ensures the mineral supply to the inhabitants and useful helpers in the aquarium through constant mineral release.

Mironekuton also has a pH-stabilizing effect and thus prevents dangerous drops in pH. It supports the total hardness (gH), improves water quality, ion exchange capacity, plant growth and root formation, photosynthesis and the release of oxygen. It adsorbs pollutants, ensures crystal-clear water and removes unpleasant odors.

A notice:
Mironekuton has a pH value of 7.4. With soft starting water and high dosage, it raises the pH value and the total hardness (gH), as well as slightly the carbonate hardness (kH). These properties are important for stable water conditions and a well-balanced bacterial flora in the aquarium. The slow and continuous release of minerals can be measured using commercially available water tests and offers a great advantage over artificial and/or quickly soluble mineral preparations.
